Bwin, which forms part of the recently merged bwin.party digital entertainment group, has announced the launch of a new sports betting application for its customers.
This new application has been designed specifically for iPhone mobile and Android-enabled mobile users enabling players to wager before as well as during major sports events.
Customers at Bwin will have an opportunity to wager on all the sports that are offered by Bwin on its online sports betting platform which include American Football, European Football, Tennis, Ice Hockey, Skiing and Formula 1 racing.
The new sports betting application will give players a chance to obtain full access to all data in their online account and a history of all the bets placed by them, without having to compromise Bwin’s high levels of security offered on all its brands.
Berthold Kao, Head of Mobile Products for Bwin said that the bwin.com live betting application’s huge success is due to its simplicity. He added that the decision to combine pre-event betting and live betting into one single application called Bwin Sports was based on the popularity of the product amongst their customers.
The new Bwin Sports application is available to iPhone users in Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. The application must be accessed through the iTunes stores in the relevant countries.
Android-enabled mobile users can access the new application all around the world.
Bwin.party is one of the first operators to receive a license from the Danish government after its application for permission to offer bingo, casino, poker and sports betting services.
