32Red, the Gibraltar-based and Microgaming powered online gambling company, has announced that it has joined three other companies who have signed up as sponsors of the All-Weather Championships which is scheduled to launch on 26th October, 2013 and is a new catch-all for all-weather UK race meetings.
The Arena Racing Company owns three of the UK’s four all-weather racetracks and has organized the first edition of the new series which will launch on Tuesday, 26th October at Wolverhampton racecourse and will end at Arena owned Lingfield Park on Good Friday, 18th April, 2014 and will be known as the All-Weather Championship Day.
The new series will comprise of six different races for 3 year olds, Fillies and Mares, Marathon, Sprint, Mile and Middle Distant horses that will count towards the championship.
All in all there will be approximately 1500 races taking place across the Championship season at the UK’s All-Weather tracks that will be held at Lingfield Park, Wolverhampton, Southwell as well as at the Kempton Park Racecourses.
Each of the four sponsors, which include 32Red, Ladbrokes, Coral and Bookmakers.co.uk will be headline category sponsors with 32Red backing three year olds, fillies and mares and marathon. The spring races will be headlined by Bookmakers.co.uk while Ladbrokes will sponsor the Mile Championships and the middle distance section will be sponsored by Coral.
Mark Quayle, the head of marketing for 32Red, said that 32Red has sponsored more than 1,500 horse races since 2004 and it was, therefore, an obvious choice to add to this total with this great initiative.
